Tended Stone began with a simple belief: every resting place deserves to be honored and cared for. The idea took root back in 2011, when my wife and I grew frustrated with the lack of attention given to the cemetery where our loved ones are buried. Stones went uncleaned, flowers withered, and the grounds showed signs of neglect. It was heartbreaking.

We understood that maintaining a resting place takes time, dedication, and care—something not everyone can do regularly, especially when distance or life’s demands get in the way. But we also knew the peace and joy we felt when a stone was cleaned, faded flowers were replaced with fresh ones, and the space felt lovingly tended. Those moments of reflection, surrounded by care and beauty, meant everything to us.

In 2025, we turned that long-held idea into reality and founded Tended Stone. For us, it’s more than a business—it’s a way to help others experience that same comfort. Each visit is a chance to show respect, preserve beauty, and keep memories alive. We do this because we believe love doesn’t end, and the ones we’ve lost deserve to be remembered with dignity, always.
